All-Ways Accessible is proud to be a member of Symmetry Elevating solutions

AWA has joins forces with other members of the industry in the Symmetry Elevating Solutions network. The Symmetry network is made up of the elite accessibility lift/elevator dealers from across the country. For years the number one issue we have had is the control of the products we represent. We ran really tight ships in our own office, but we had no control of the manufacturing component. We were at the whim of our suppliers to produce products we could sell. We had very little control on what they produced and how long it took them to produce it. Obviously this was a constant point of aggravation. Consumers trust us to deliver the best product in the best possible time. We found our self constantly having to apologize for the failure on the part of our manufacture. This was an awkward position to be put in.

SES was founded by a group of dealers who finally reached a point where they could no longer live with what the manufactures told them they had to sell. These original dealers went out on a mission to find other suppliers that produce produces they would be proud to represent and that they did! The mission of SES is to partner up with quality manufactures that listen and deliver what we want. At the current time Symmetry has manufacture agreements with Bella Elevator, Savaria, Vasari and Harmar. There will be more manufactures coming in the near future.

AWA was one of the first of non original members that was asked to join the network. You have to be approved by the other members to be in this network. We were honored to be asked are very excited by this venture. Besides the ability to have access to some great manufacturing partners we have access to each other to share best practices and experiences. This is a very valuable and useful tool.

The SES network is the talk of the industry and we are very proud to be part of it!

AWA adopts a zero tolerance policy on Drugs and Alcohol.

Beginning on November 1st 2010 AWA announced to all employees that the company has adopted this policy. This policy was received with enthusiasm from the entire staff. As one person said "now we can all be sure every person we work with is in their correct state of mind". All employees consented and participated in the initial round of testing. Random testing will happen through out the year for all employees including the ownership. All new hires will be required to submit to drug and alcohol testing as terms of their employment at AWA.

As Jeff Lavoie mentioned when the policy was enacted "we owe it to each other and our customers to be sure we are giving our all to everything we do".

AWA was awarded the Pinnacle award as the Small business of the Year 2010 by the Concord Chamber of commerce.

"The Pinnacle Awards recognize businesses and individuals who have demonstrated professional excellence and commitment to the community." Jeff and Liz excepted the award with great pride at the annual award ceremony. Liz said, "we do what we do for the community because we think it is right, but it is still very nice to get recognized for it".
